Meet Your Instructor
Hi there, I’m Samir Abid.
I’ve over 20 years experience working as an engineer both on road and racing car – for brands such as Aston Martin and Multimatic Motorsports – and in elite sports – for Olympic sports teams and the INEOS 1-59 marathon world record.
I’ve a degree in Automotive Engineering. I’m a Chartered Engineer. I’ve an MBA. I’ve worked for big companies and created my own businesses. I coach racing drivers… and I have successfully competed as a club level racing driver here in the UK – somewhat putting my money where my mouth is when it comes to all this stuff!
During these experiences, I have seen the struggles, frustration and intimidation people have with numbers and data. Today I’m excited to share my most useful insights, practical tips and tricks when it comes to the fundamentals of doing driver data analysis.
